The American River Collection is an insulated double-sided wood garage door with a real wood 2-part overlay on the exterior and exterior grade plywood on the interior side of the door that is available in four different styles.
The four styles of garage doors in this series are the Vermilion that is made to look like a 1-piece swing up door, the Columbia to simulate swing out doors, the Potomac that appears to be an accordian type. and the Savannah that seem to be a bi-fold style garage door.
The overlay wood effect simulates the look of the those old style carriage house type doors but still go up and down will opening and closing the same as a standard residential sectional garage door. The top layer is horizontal bucks and vertical battons with a under-layer that is made of 4” or 6” v-groove or bead board all of which can be cedar or African mahogany or you can have a flush layer that is MDO plywood. There are many different designs to chose from with a number of different optional window patterns with your choice of clear 1/8” DSB glass, water glass, and insulated glass or you can have all solid wood panels. Therefore there are many choices to pick the best one for the architectural style of your home. You also have the choice to have a factory primed white finish or the wood left in its natural stain-grade state that would be stained in the field stained to suit your taste & to compliment the home design.
You also have the choice of having the standard galvanized garage door interior hardware or get the hardware with an optional powder coat finish in antique copper, white, or black.
Lastly they are an insulated garage door that has 1-3/8” of CFC free expanded polystyrene insulation that has a R-Value of 7.0 .The calculated garage door section R-Values are in accordance with DASMA TDS-163.
